Dear world...

Why don't I seem to give a fuck anymore? It's almost as if I have become more apathetic by the day. I mean, maybe it's because I'm anxious for the next chapter to begin in my life and I'm so fucking tired of J-school (journalism school for those who actually studied something real) and I'm disillusioned from being a journalist. If I ever hear the term "nut graf" one more fucking time, I swear...by the way, this will not change the title of my blog. Why? Because I am waaaay too lazy to rename it.

Typically, I get out of bed. I stare at the clock. I can sleep for five more minutes, I tell myself. I then lazily do the reading for some shit I should have read the night before. I sit in bed, smelly and ugly, go find some random shit to eat, and then return to my sanctuary to fart freely, the way I can't when I'm in class. I get dressed in some semblance of a cute outfit, depending on my mood. I sometimes even bother to put on makeup if I really wanna impress motherfuckers today. I beg someone in the house to drop my needy ass off to the Metra station because I

a) do not have a car
b) am now commuting, which sucks more cock than a groupie
c) am a fucking dependent loser
d) all of the above

I get on the train and contemplate who to sit by based on their gender and age--old ladies are the best because they really don't give a shit. Why? Because they're usually asleep. Headphones in, I hope the conductors skip over me so I can get a free ride. When they come up to me with that clipper thingy, I die a little bit inside.

Go to school, which I now hate because it's full of assholes and I'm tired of learning about journalism when I don't even want to go into that field anymore. Plus, pretentious dickfaces and bitchfucks galore who are talking about their "album" or their next "modeling shoot." Go home tired if I didn't work, scrape off my hot girl disguise as Jenna Marbles would put it, ponder why my brother hates the shit out of me and doesn't talk to me anymore, ponder my forever alone existence, etc. I'm too lazy to even comb my hair, which is essential because it's not mine and therefore can get tangled if not taken care of. I eat. A lot. I tell myself I should stop, but I never gain any weight, and the scale in my house says I lost TWENTY pounds while I was sick with strep and mono. *shrugs* Eat without brushing my teef even though I should and in the past, I've had cavities galore--I was a lazy shit back then, too!--watch YouTube videos about nothing, fall asleep way too late, just wondering when my life won't suck balls the way it does now. When will I move out? When will I get a boyfriend? When will I figure out my life? How the hell did I take my pants off in my sleep?

I hope you guys enjoyed that little aside. I have some shit to scrape off my face. It's called apricot scrub. It's been there for a while.

Here's James Blake's new single.

My sickness is almost over and I'm so happy. The time spent wallowing in pain, not going any-fucking-where, and watching damn near all of my True Blood DVDs has been put toward basically nothing. Today I have to haul ass on my studies. Not exactly happy about this. I have to call a bunch of people for interviews for my journalism classes. Can I just say that I'm just about sick of school and can't wait for it to be over? All I want to do is move to Chicago, continue working at Topshop, and hopefully land a paid internship somewhere before I decide what I want to do next. Whatever that is, it has to involve traveling. I love you Chicago, but after a while, I just want to go somewhere else. Though I really do enjoy the limited places I've been here (I don't live there at the moment, so I get out less frequently) like Reckless Records in Wicker Park where I can get CDs for a dollar or two. Or the Indian restaurant Sultan's in Wicker that I stop by to get a good chicken shawerma between classes. Or the cool sex stores in Boystown where me and a friend have purchased a good toy. (I need another one, come to think of it.) Anyways. Yeah. (See, I really don't get out that much lol)

I love these pants I bought from Topshop. They were only...what, $15 when all was said and done? I get 25% off sale items and 60% off regular items. Sounds awesome, right? We only get four pieces of said 60% off items lol. They don't wanna spoil us TOO hard. I bought the coat when I first started working there. It went from $150 to a whopping $40 when I snagged. Yeah. I like sales.

this is the best burger i have ever eaten.

Food porn outburst. It happens.

Top: Urban Outfitters. Blazer: H&M. Necklace: Nastygal. Pants: American Apparel. Shoes; Doc Martens.

The pants have made another appearance. What can I say? They're fabulous. I'd make a short little anecdote about this outfit--another 90s channeling, yadda yadda--but I have to tell you guys something.

DON'T. EVER. FUCKING. CATCH. STREP. THROAT. THIS SHIT SUCKS SO MUCH FUCKING BALLS, IT IS RIDICULOUS. IT HURTS TO SWALLOW. I'VE BEEN THROWING TEMPER TANTRUMS LIKE A CHILD. I SKIPPED WORK AND SCHOOL ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS BECAUSE I JUST CAN'T DEAL. UGH. FUCKING BLOODY HELL.

*composes self* Okay. That is all. By the way, the title is inspired by Rooney and my blue blazer. I miss the days of those pop-punk bands when they were super relevant. And with Fall Out Boy reuniting and stuff, it makes me wax nostalgic. Back in high school, all I did was fangirl over FOB, My Chemical Romance, and Panic! at the Disco. (Other bands too, but they were my top three.) *sighs* Those were the days.

Video: OOTD

Thought I'd switch it up and do an OOTD post. If the lighting sucks dick, I apologize. Next time, I'll just shoot in my room or something. My webcam isn't the bestest, so I had to make do. A little variety is nice. Enjoy!

Fashion: Polka Dots and Florals

GEDC2264
Jacket: Don't remember. Dress: Forever 21. Hat: Beauty Supply. Boots: Forever 21. Necklaces: Forever 21.

GEDC2247
Blazer: H&M. Top: Urban Outfitters. Shoes: Urban Outfitters. Necklace: Forever 21. Leggings: American Apparel

Two outfits I've worn this week. As you can see, I went for the indie/hipster theme, and the American Apparel whore theme. One with army colors, the other extremely colorful.

Ever feel like your life is just dragging? I start my last year of college in about three weeks, and I just feel so...MEH. Honestly, can we just fast forward to me accomplishing shit and living on my own and whatnot? I'm over this. And you know your life is lame when your proudest accomplishment of the day involves a well-placed Hugh Hefner joke. About how old he is. And how his dick probably doesn't work anymore.

Add this to my extreme inability to acquire any sort of requited love, and yep. Lameness. I guess I should just throw myself into my career and get some cats. No, fuck that. I hate cats. They're the dumb blonde un-fun bitches of pets.

Fashion: 1 Skirt, 3 Looks

Instead of going out into the Sahara Desert to partake in 4th of July activities, I thought of something way better: take a sequin mini, and style it three ways. Here we have the copycat Sienna Miller, the Semi-Platonic-But-Not-Really Date, and the Me-and-My-Girls-'Bout-to-Regret-What-We-Did-the-Night-Before.

Outfit 1: The Copycat Sienna Miller
Before you peep my outfit, check out Sienna Miller's look in an old NYLON magazine.

From the 80sPurple Website
I got the inspiration because her look was so playful yet pulled together. If only I had black Creepers, I could have really managed a copycat style, but lo and behold, I bought the white ones. Anyhoo, scroll down.

Shirt: Miley Cyrus for Max Azria
T-shirt: Forever 21
Skirt: Random Beauty Supply Store
Shoes: Creepers by Demonia
Sunglasses: H&M

Sequins in the daytime may scare people, but if you tame everything else and treat it like its a normal piece, then you should have no problem. Even the Creepers are casualized when you throw on a denim shirt.

I freaking love these sunglasses.
Outfit 2: The Semi-Platonic-But-Not-Really Date

Blazer: H&M
Necklace: Forever 21
Shoes: Urban Outfitters
Bag: H&M

Flirty but not really flirty! For the girl who can't decide if this guy is actually worth something or is just a jerkass who's paying for dinner and movie to get his dick sucked in the end. The cross will let him know to keep his distance, but the heart lets him know that he may get some loving if he plays his cards right. Plus, adding a blazer just makes you look smart, right? You can't be that skanky if you're wearing a very prominent symbol of the business world. No matter how boldly colored it is.

Outfit 3: The Me-and-My-Girls-'Bout-to-Regret-What-We-Did-the-Night-Before

Jacket: Forever 21
Mesh Dress: American Apparel
Necklace: Random store
Shoes: Forever 21

If your goal is to be naked, you are looking for trouble. Add the leather jacket, and...yeah. Basically, the whole point of this look is to be as skanky as you want. You're with your girlfriends, and they don't care, because they most likely look the same. I wanted a badass look. But because I can't be too naked, I decided the leather jacket would cover me up. Open-toed booties are a bit masculine, to complete the look. And the drunk texts you sent to your friends the night before? Priceless.

Happy 4th of July, everyone! Let us congratulate the country that's slowly fucking us in the asses without Vaseline with fireworks and unlimited liquor!

Fashion + Music: Color (Cock) Block/Kanye

Scarf: PayHalf
Top: My Mom's
Shorts: H&M
Shoes: Urban Outfitters
Earrings: I don't even remember...

I love to mix colors and play with brights. Though I have more pink stuff than mint, I just dig the idea of pairing both together, and then tying them in with a nice neutral. Black was out because I'm always wearing black. Time for some brown! I haven't worn these tan sandals yet but they pretty much go with everything. $10 at the UO outlet. $80 on the UO website. MWAHAHA.

Okay, that was the fashion part. Here comes the music.

So, by now, I'm pretty sure you guys have heard about Kanye's song that references Theraflu. The makers of the medicine weren't too pleased with it. Eventually, he changed the name of the song to "Way Too Cold." Now, while I am two months off, seeing as this song came out in April, I just heard it the other day. It is laden with Kim Kardashian references and showcases West's braggadocio, just like all eight hundred of his other songs. Honestly, it seems like Kanye can't lose. Just try to tell me you're not still listening to "Mercy" and completely messing up the indecipherable sample. Cough along to this shit.
